Balinese Postcard

They say the energy of this island is quite different from any other place you have ever been to. I don’t know, my bucket list notebook of places to visit is still much thicker than my pack of old flight tickets. But what I can say is that it’ll change you in some indescribable way. Makes you slow down, breathe a little, worry less.
Well anyway, I didn’t take many pictures because most of the time I didn’t feel like I can capture the realness (oh these photographer’s struggles). But here’s couple of my faves. :)

T & J: Family Portraits

Capturing bonds between parents and children is something I truly cherish. Especially when I get to photograph these little daily moments and rituals that seem so ordinary but one day you realize they were actually pretty special. :)

When you get to shoot an artistic soul, it’s usually a lot of fun because their visual sense of the world can be somewhat different. Like seeing beauty in places others would avoid from distance. Which makes you open your mind a little bit and that’s always a good thing to do.
This young musician is one of these people and, moreover, he’s passionate about what he does, which is more important than it might seem. I’m curious about what the future has in store for him.
